These two, very cool and gorgeous people, is expecting their first born. I think most of us, who are already mommy's, can just imagine how scary it must be to know you will be delivering your baby during this crazy, upside down time which is Covid.
Full hospitals, weird virus hanging around, no husband by your side, no family to come and say hallo and help you. It is all just a little sad and very scary. So while I am here, on the subject, to all the mom's who delivered and are still to deliver their babies, well done. You are so brave and strong and my thoughts are with every single mom out there, You Rock!
I think the most disappointing thing is that all the mom's are missing out on their big baby shower celebrations. I know for me it was one of the biggest highlights of my pregnancy.
But if you have a friend called SIya, she will make sure that you still experience a lovely day full of spoils. Siya called me and said she wanted to plan a virtual baby shower for her friend's Brian and KG. So we planned a small baby shower set-up at their home, with cake and balloons. Siya also organised Finding Light Photography for a baby shower shoot and lots of friends drove by and dropped gifts at the couple's gate.
I mena, that is friend goals right there.
