I fell in love with the Llama party bags the moment I saw them on Design Studio's Instagram page.  What a surprise to hear that Sammy made them them, when I requested where I could get my hands on some.

So today I am sharing with you how to make these very. very pretty party bags. The best part is that you will be able to customise these to fit any animal theme.

DIY Order and essentials
 
You’ll need

• Scissors
• Crafts Glue gun
• Pritt glue
• White paper bag 
• Pom Poms in theme colours
• White marker
• Tassel (optional)
• Llama party printable available to download. Available to download at the bottom of this post.

 
Instructions

1. Print out free llama printable preferably on 300g glossy paper as this will allow llama silhouette (or cutout) to hold up straight.
2. Cut out Llama silhouette, saddle and name tag – put to side.
3. Cut white paper bag in half and remove handles from top half.
4. Glue Llama silhouette, saddle and name tag cutouts onto bottom half of white paper bag. Do this with normal Pritt glue.
5. Use the glue gun to re-attached handles inside the white paper bag as well as the options tassel.
6. Use white marker to personalize party bags on glued on party pack.
7. Decorate with pom poms.

For the month of February we have a beautiful A3 desk calender for your to download, print and pop onto your desk.  Keep yourself super organised and up to date at a glance, with this one month calender.  It even has a little note section for you to write down your brilliant ideas or important reminders.  

I printed mine at Postnet, on the A3 Gloss sheet for a very reasonable R11.50.
Another idea is to print it on an A4 sheet and stick it into your diary or workbook, so that you can easily plan your month.  
Or pop it onto your fridge or on the wall in your office,

I have set this calender as my mobile phone and laptop wallpaper, and all I can say is that these tones of ultra violet and plum, make me happy every time I look at it!

You will need:
- 80gr Chocolate Bar
- Bottle of Wine 
- Scissors
- Glue

Hintfull tips:
- Remove chocolate bar from packaging.  Then carefully and tightly wrap the chocolate in a piece of tinfoil before adding the wrapper.
- Soak the wine bottle in water, remove wine label.  Dry.  Take some nail polish remover to remove last of the glue residue.  Dry.  Add wine label.

Lately I have been a little obsessed with the color combination of Rose & Indigo, and while working on our DONUT DIY a few weeks ago, playing around to create the chocolate brushstrokes, I just though to myself that all these elements and colors will make a beautiful theme for a bridal shower.  

And this is how the idea for our very first, officially styled shoot started taking shape.  I also wanted to use the opportunity to showcase the work of all the very, talented service providers in the Plan Me Pretty Directory, and in the end, it worked out so well.  Thank you to everyone for that!

Mother's day is such a special celebration for me as it is the only 'holiday' every year that the whole family spends together. Me and my sister, our mom, my husband’s parents and my brother-in-law's parents, and all the other siblings and grandchildren in between.

As October month is Breast Cancer Awareness month I wanted this months printable to be something that could help raise awareness and funds for cancer research and breast cancer screenings.

So with the creative design of Monique from DESIGN LOVE, we came up with this stunning Cuppa for CANSA Tea Party printable set. Something to inspire you and help you to host a Cuppa for CANSA and rasie funds to offer free Breast Cancer Screenings for women who cannot afford it or towards Cancer Research in general.

Cuppa for CANSA runs every year from June to 31 October.  I know we are a little bit late with this set, but two weeks is plenty of time to get your girls together for a quick, fun morning or afternoon tea.  You supply the treats and tea and they make a small donation towards CANSA.  Two flies!

The key to a successful week  - it has been said over and over - is writing things down.  Lists and lists.  This week Design Love is spoiling us with the prettiest botanical weekly planner.  It is so pretty, you will want one in your home and/or desk every week!  And anything pretty laying around is bound to inspire.

I sent my planner to my local print shop and asked him to print out two for me.
- The one I printed on some think A4 cardstock - this one I will keep in my office this week to help met get organised and more productive in the office.
-  The other one I asked him to laminate for me.  I stuck some magnetic tape on the back, and viola, weekly grocery list and home planner in one.  I use an ink based pen and it easily wipes of.

Two weeks and Easter weekend is here and setting your Easter Sunday table has never been easier! 
​The bubbly Monique, from DESIGN LOVE - GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO - has spoilt us with the prettiest free printable's for our table this year AND you have a choice of pink or blue, or both.  
I had loads of fun setting the table for the pictures, outside, under the trees - and once again learned that confetti makes everything look pretty!  So start planning and printing, it is almost Easter holiday time.

Set includes:
Paper placemats in Pink or Blue - I printed these on A3, 80gr gloss.  A4 will also do and is a little easier on the pocket.  
Dessert decorating covers  - print on gloss paper and I used a thicker paper of 160gr.  Fill them with sophisticated toppings for the adults and for the kids use fun treats such as sour worms and gummies.
Little egg paper baskets - these are perfect for the kiddies table or to hide in the garden for the Easter egg hunt.

No baking required.  
Fill an empty egg carton with all sorts of yummy goodies.

It is the month of LOVE, and I, for one, am always torn between, should I or should I not do something for Valentine's day.  My compromise?  Do something small and fun, just because you can and it is always nice to do something that you know will put a smile on someone's face.
